Chief Minister KCR reviewed the progress of the metro rail project with officials from Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) and L&T. In continuation of his reservations over Metro passing over heritage locations, the CM broached about metro passing the state assembly, M.J. Market, Jambagh, Assembly, Gun Park and Sultan Bazar. The CM asked the HMR to look and exhaust alternate options, even if an underground passage is not feasible at this stage of project. Hero MotoCorp is actively examining Telangana Government’s proposals to establish their 6th manufacturing plant in India, their first in South India. Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler maker by volumes since 2001.  A team from Hero Motocorp is visiting Telangana today to visit a handful of sites apart from the main one – Zaheerabad. After Telangana released the 3.5 TMC as agreed last week, AP requested for more water, reasoning that all the water released from Nagarjuna Sagar reached Delta due to evaporation & large craters on the way. Telangana objected to the argument and reiterated it’s suspicion that the water released is being diverted for irrigation instead of the drinking purposes it is being released for.
