Make Enough Seeds & Fertilizers Available For Kharif, CM KCR Directs Officials

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao today directed the officials of the Agriculture department to get ready for Kharif spell beginning rainy season from next week. The Chief Minister held a high-level review meeting, along with Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Major Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao, Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy and Excise Minister T. Padma Rao at the Secretariat here on Thursday. The officials gave details relating to Kharif preparedness through power point presentation. Speaking on the occasion, KCR asked the officials to fully gear up for Kharif with adequate quantity of seed, fertilizers and farm equipment. Telangana Government Plans Big IT Push To Rebuild Brand Hyderabad

After four years of political uncertainty, which ended in the creation of Telangana, attention is now turning towards rebuilding brand Hyderabad. State information technology minister K Taraka Rama Rao is set to clear several IT companies’ expansion plans, which had been put on the back burner all these years. Among the companies geared up for expanding their operations in and around Hyderabad are tech major such as Amazon, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Cognizant, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will meet the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several Union Ministers in New Delhi tomorrow with a list of demands, which include special economic incentives for the new state. It would be Rao’s maiden visit to the national capital after taking over as the first Chief Minister of Telangana. Other demands include national project status for Pranahita-Chevella lift irrigation scheme and the Palamuru lift irrigation scheme and scrapping of the merger of seven mandals in Bhadrachalam division — which would be affected by the Polavaram irrigation project — with Andhra Pradesh, TRS sources said in Hyderabad. KCR Asks For Complete Details Of Farm Loans From Bankers

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao today directed the bankers to come up with all detailed reports within a week pertaining to farmers, who got loans from June 2013 to June 2014. Inaugurating the first bankers’ meeting at Secretariat here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said his Government was committed to keep the promise of loan waiver to farmers in two weeks. Finance Minister Etela Rajender and Agriculture Minister P Srinivas Reddy were present at the meeting.
