Telangana Govt. Releases Rs 272 Cr For Police Squad Cars & Other Vehicles

Telangana Government issues orders to release Rs 272 Cr for upgrading the police forces in Hyderabad and Cyberabad jurisdictions. Around 3883 vehicles are to be purchases as part of modernization. The vehicles would be linked to a unified command through internet and 4G facilities. Vehicles of all classes – Heavy Motor Vehicles, Light Motor Vehicles, Medium Motor Vehicles, Motor Cycles, are being ordered for. The police bosses are already looking at demonstrations from different motor companies to shortlist make and models for purchases. Telangana Kicks Off Work For India’s Largest Solar Park!

Telangana is going to challenge Gujarat for the title of the State with India’s largest solar park. Telangana has started the due process for setting up a 1000 MW plant in Mahbubnagar. The Telangana Government has earlier decided  to set up an integrated 1,000 MW solar power generation park at the backward district of Mahbubnagar. The project is being taken up by Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) in partnership with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). Hyderabad Metro Planning Realignment To Avoid Heritage Structures

After Telangana CM asked them to look for alternatives to avoid loss to heritage structures, L&T and HMR have been actively looking at realignment options in Corridor 2 to avoid the spots mentioned by State Government. Initially, the CM asked Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) to look at the option of going underground at to save specific heritage spots. Some media channels raised propaganda against Telangana government saying it’s actions led to L&T quitting Hyderabad Metro Project.
