Telangana Government issues orders to release Rs 272 Cr for upgrading the police forces in Hyderabad and Cyberabad jurisdictions. Around 3883 vehicles are to be purchases as part of modernization. Telangana is going to challenge Gujarat for the title of the State with India’s largest solar park. Telangana has started the due process for setting up a 1000 MW plant in Mahbubnagar. The Telangana Government has earlier decided  to set up an integrated 1,000 MW solar power generation park at the backward district of Mahbubnagar. The project is being taken up by Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) in partnership with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). After Telangana CM asked them to look for alternatives to avoid loss to heritage structures, L&T and HMR have been actively looking at realignment options in Corridor 2 to avoid the spots mentioned by State Government.
