Now, Bonalu & Heritage Weekend Tour Packages From Telangana Tourism Corp.

With Bonalu being declared as the state festival of the newly formed Telangana, the State Tourism Development Corporation has launched Hyderabad Bonalu weekend package tours to Secunderabad Ujjaini Mahakali Temple and Darbar Maisamma Temple, Lal Darwaza. The tours operate on every Sunday. “We have taken this initiative to create awareness about the festival and also allow people to witness the biggest festival of Telangana,” said P Purander, an official of the  Tourism Development Corporation. “We plan to organising these tours every year for the convenience of people and tourists who visit Hyderabad for the first time,” he added. Telangana RTC Logo Under Review After Objections Over Color

The Telangana RTC would be known as TSRTC and the logo design is complete. The logo which is going to brace every bus in the State now is ready. The logo is built around the central concept of bus steering, wheel and tire. While the steering forms the central part of the logo, words TSRTC are embedded between spokes, arranged around the steering, which also serves as the center of the wheel. Telangana maps straddle the tire on either side. The logo is under final review after some trade unions reportedly objected to the prominent use of rose color in the logo, which is the color associated with TRS party. The colors maybe tweaked a bit before finalizing the logo.

The minister’s candid answers showed he meant business by bringing with him multiple government departments including GHMC, HMDA, Water Board, Infrastructure Corporation of Telangana, Police and Industries to address issues faced by the IT industry. Ration Cards to be Issued Afresh To Replace State Name & Remove Bogus Cards

As the cards issued by the previous government bear the name of the Andhra Pradesh government, the Telangana state government has decided to issue cards in place of the existing ones replacing ‘Andhra Pradesh’ with ‘Telangana’. The exercise is also aimed at arresting leakages in the public distribution scheme (PDS) and to reduce the burden on the exchequer proportionately. The issue was extensively discussed at a review meeting of the Civil Supplies Department here on Friday, wherein Finance Minister Eatala Rajender, who also holds the Civil Supplies portfolio, raised the issue of existence of higher number of ration cards than the number of households in Telangana. Enthusiasm & Anticipation In Hyderabad IT With Newfound Focus On Innovation & Growth Clusters

The ICT (Information and Communications Technology) industry of the newly carved Telangana state put forth the industry growth recommendations to the state government. The recommendations are aimed at taking the industry to one million level in five years from the present base of 400,000 direct employees. These recommendations, presented at the industry round table with Information Technology minister KT Rama Rao on Friday, were stated to have arrived at think-tank meetings held over past two weeks collectively by all organizations representing different facets of the IT industry.
