While Naidu Violates Law & Ditches Telangana, Piyush Goyal Praises Him As The Leader Of ‘All Telugus’!

Piyush-Goel

Even as the Southern Regional Load Despatch Centre (SRLDC), Bangalore told the Government of AP to maintain status quo with regard to withdrawing from PPAs, Chandrababu Naidu’ Government didn’t give two hoots to it and quite arrogantly is continuing it’s wayward ways. AP is using up all the power produced in it’s plants against the agreements made in AP Re-Org Act. In the daily mandatory schedules that needs to be shared with SRLDC, the AP State Load Despatch Centre admitted zero allotments for Telangana. So, the AP state power authorities have been scheduling the power produced by AP-based plants wholly for the State and giving nothing to Telangana. Even while this is happening, Union Minister Of Power Piyush Goyal while welcoming AP CM Chandrababu ...

apgenco

The Southern Regional Load Despatch Centre Tuesday directed the AP government to stop itself from drawing more power, from the grid, than it was using till June 2, till the Centre resolved the power purchase agreements (PPAs) row. Both Telangana and AP lodged complaints with the Centre over power sharing issue and the Centre directed the SRLDC to resolve the same. The SRLDC held a meeting with energy officials of both the States in Bangalore. The SRLDC decision is the second big blow to AP, which faced a similar rejection from the ERC. The AP Govt unilaterally declared the PPAs between AP and Telanagana DisComs are null and void and proceeded to draw more grid from the southern grid than what it ...

700 Hyd Firms Shift To AP, Puncturing Anti-Telangana Propaganda About Tax Revenue

Media reports quote that at least 700 small and medium businesses owned by people from Seemandhra have shifted their registered offices from Hyderabad to truncated Andhra Pradesh state over the last few months. Also, around 118 new companies have been registered in residuary AP while only 12 have been registered in Telangana. It is said that some of the companies that shifted have all their manufacturing and production facilities located in residuary AP and therefore find no reason to continue their registered offices in Hyderabad, away from them. These developments only vindicated what Telangana intellectuals have long been arguing – that the budgetary surplus of Telangana is exaggerated without considering the mandatory shifting of registered offices for PSUs and the possible shifting, like those ...
