Even as the Telangana government is going after “unauthorised” properties in Hyderabad, the Centre on Sunday sent a communication to it, proposing amendments to the existing business rules under Section VIII (A) of the AP Reorganisation Act-2014, investing the Governor with powers to deal with law & order in the State capital. After issues over Polavaram, Power PPAs, Water to Delta, the BJP and TDP combine in AP and in Centre are moving to hand the powers over law & order in Hyderabad and Cyberabad jurisdictions to the common governor. As per news from Delhi, the centre reportedly prepared this draft after AP CM Chandrababu Naidu gave it in writing to the Centre that the the law & order in Hyderabad should be maintained through the police forces of both AP & Telangana. In addition to the power losses they already pointed out, to the tune of 955 MW, the Telangana Electricity Employees’ JAC pointed out another instance now where AP is taking power from Telangana’s share that was mandated through AP Re-organization Act. TEEJAC proved earlier that Telangana is losing an estimated 17.1 million units of power everyday with AP’s acts of defiance towards the AP ReOrg Act. In the latest example, Telangana’s loss is 72 MW. Krishna River Board To Meet, After Telangana Objects To It’s Functioning

With the CWC operating unilaterally through the Krishna River Board and granting water to even irrigation in Krishna Delta, under AP’s pressure, Telangana Govt. shot off a letter to it, objecting to it deciding water releases to Krishna and issuing orders directly to the Project Engineer at Nagarjuna Sagar Dam.
