TS Yet To Take A Stand While Kamalathan Committee Is Set To Finalise Norms On Aug 13

There is no official statement yet from Telangana government on the stand it would take on the strong objections raised by various employee JACs over the guidelines released by Kamalanathan Committee over employee allocation between AP & Telangana.  Meanwhile, the committee set time till August 5 to receive suggestions from various sections and it would meet on August 13 to consider the suggestions and finalise the guidelines. The committee would the submit the final report to the Department of Personnel and Training on August 14 for Centre’s clearance. Once the PM signs it, curtains would come down on issue. State Govt. Sets Up Panel To Finalize Guidelines For FAST Scholarship

The Telangana State Government has issued GO 36 to finalize the guidelines for FAST scholarship scheme being introduced from this year. This is in follow up to the  decision made at the 3rd Cabinet Meeting of the Council of Ministers held at 3 P.M. on 16th July 2014. There were earlier reports on the brainstorming of what could end up in this final list of guidelines, including high marks and attendance percentage for students wishing to avail the scholarship. It delivered on all promises for AP made in the 13th Schedule of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014.  Today, The Union Ministry of Human Resources has notified its decision to establish one Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), National Institute of Technology (NIT), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Central University (CU) and one Tribal University (TU) in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
