Harish Hits Back At T-Cong And Asks Why They Didn’t Book The Power Grid!

Irrigation minister Harish Rao lashed out at Telangana Congress leaders who have criticized the 2 month old TRS Government. Pointing that the criticism of the Govt. from Ponnala Lakshmaiah, K Jana Reddy is only to show their political presence, the minister what these 2 ex-ministers in 2 successive Congress governments were doing while YSR moved all power projects to AP. The minister asked the senior Congress leaders why they didn’t book the power grid at least for Telangana’s future while Tamil Nadu was doing every effort. As we know, Tamil Nadu did the advance booking for 1000 MW years ago and their is hardly 250 MW for 4 southern states rom the North South grid. Last ditch efforts by Telangana Government after its’ formed on June 2 didn’t succeed as TN did the advance booking. The next availability for grid is only in 2017.

Harish Rao mentioned that Telangana state government is managing with just 70 AIS officers while the erstwhile Congress ministers had 330 officers at their disposal and that the government is doing its best.

Harish Rao didn’t spare the state BJP chief too. “Kishan never talks about injustice done to Telangana in Railway budget, Polavaram and other issues but keeps on politicizing Sania Mirza issue which goes to show their narrow mindedness.” he said.
