CM KCR & CM Naidu Seen In A Cheerful Exchange!

In the chill of bifurcation and the subsequent confrontations over several issues, CMs KCR and CBN never met. The mush awaited Iftar party hosted by the Governor which was expected to be their first meeting after becoming CMs, didn’t quite happen as KCR didn’t make it. So when they met at Begumpet airport, there was a photographer’s delight. And it is satisfied big time. Hyderabad Schools Release Mobile Apps For Parents To Watch Their Kids Remotely!

In a charged atmosphere about safety of kids, some schools in Hyderabad are exploring new ways to assure parents that there kids are safe in their schools. They are technology to the utmost and installing CCTVs, creating mobile Apps, opening customer service lines for parents to call and enquire. There have been series of incidents in all metros across the country recently, involving school kids, that raised the hackles of parents. Cases of negligence in baby care centres too prompted several of them to install CCTVs and monitor in a central room. Now the institutes are extending the monitoring right into the parents’ hands. Centre’s Committee Faults AP On Power PPAs, Upholds Telangana’s Rights

Telangana just got a breath of fresh air as the Centre’s committee decided AP is wrong in denying Telangana it’s share of power. The decision should come as a relief to Telangana which is mired under huge power deficit, thanks to AP’s misadventure. The high power committee headed by CEA Chairman Neeraj Mathur reportedly came to the conclusion that AP has violated the AP Reorganisation Act in letter and spirit by unilaterally canceling the Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and refusing to let Telangana use it’s share of power - 53.89 per cent. Minister KTR Wants Metro Expanded To 250 KM, To Meet Needs Of Growing Population

While there is too much speculation in some sections of media over the ‘friction’ between L& T and Telangana Govt. over the very future of metro rail project, the state govt and Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) are already planning expansion of Metro! KTR, the minister of IT & Industries, has urged the HMR authorities to explore expansion the Metro Rail distance from the present plan of 72 km to 250 km.
