Telangana Employee Unions and JACs are meeting today to discuss and finalize their concerns over the guidelines issued by Kamalanathan Committee. They will submitting their list of concerns and objections today evening to the committee.The deadline for any feedback and objections for the guidelines is tomorrow evening. The spate of flood water flow remains unabated to Tungabhadra dam and it opened up all 33 gates sending out 1.5 lakh cuses while inflow remained at 1 lakh cusecs. The maximum capacity of the dam is till 1633 feet while water is up to 1632.39 feet already. The released water is reaching RDS project. Similarly, flood-gates of Almatti and Narayanapur in Karnataka and Jurala in Telangana have been opened to release waters in the range of 1.5 lakh cusecs. Tungabhadra dam authorities have issued flood warnings in both Bellary and Kurnool districts that lie along the Tungabhadra.
