Centre Issues 13 Guidelines To Make Governor The Super CM Of Telangana!

The Union government is treating Telangana, India’s 29th State, as a special case, if it’s latest letter to the State is anything to go by. Somehow either the Centre thinks Telangana people are unfit to rule themselves or simply can’t get out of the deadly embrace of Andhra capitalists invested in Hyderabad. The Centre wrote to Telangana government to entrust ‘special responsibilities’ to the Governor in maintenance of law and order in Hyderabad, as if Hyderabad is in the throes of a civil war and badly needs a rescue from Centre. The Government made it clear all residents of a household should be at home on 19th August to be considered in the social audit being conducted by the Telangana State Government. The Government is trying to plug loopholes and irregularities in the State’s welfare programs to the tune of  nearly Rs 10,000 Cr each year. The Government addressed concerns of NRIs and students studying abroad that they need not worry about not being at home as the Govt will figure out alternate mechanism for considering the NRIs. Centre’s AIIMS-Like Institute To Come Up In Nizamabad

CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced that the AIIMS Like hospital that the Centre is planning to allot to each State would come up in Telangana, at Nizamabad. He made the announcement while touring Nizamabad yesterday. After a protracted debate, Telangana MPs could wrest a promise from Union Health Minister Dr. Harsha Vardhan that even Telangana would be considered for an AIIMS like institution. Mahindra Group Partners With École Centrale Paris For Engineering College In Hyderabad

Yet another feather has been added to Hyderabad, the home of many a prestigious institutions of higher learning. The Mahindra group has partnered with Ecole Centrale Paris, the famous 200-year-old engineering education institute of France and launched the Mahindra Ecole Centrale (MEC) Engineering College in the outskirts of Hyderabad, at Bahadurpally Jeedimetla. The college began with its first batch of 240 students. The college admits through JEE rankings and a counseling session. For international students, a valid score in SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) is mandatory for admission in the program.The college has the facility and infrastructure to take in up to 500 students a year and Mahindra has plans to get there in coming years.
