700 Hyd Firms Shift To AP, Puncturing Anti-Telangana Propaganda About Tax Revenue

Media reports quote that at least 700 small and medium businesses owned by people from Seemandhra have shifted their registered offices from Hyderabad to truncated Andhra Pradesh state over the last few months. Also, around 118 new companies have been registered in residuary AP while only 12 have been registered in Telangana. It is said that some of the companies that shifted have all their manufacturing and production facilities located in residuary AP and therefore find no reason to continue their registered offices in Hyderabad, away from them. Telangana Declares PV’s Birth Anniversary A State Function

As we reported earlier about this, the Government of Telangana declared birth anniversary celebrations of late P.V. Narasimha Rao, former Prime Minster, as State function this year. The Principal Secretary to Government (Political Affairs) Ajay Misra declared this and reviewed special arrangements that are being made for celebrating the 93rd birth anniversary of P.V. Sircilla & Warangal To Get Textile Parks; Azam Jahi Mills Land To Be Utilized Again

Telangana government is planning to set up textile parks in Warangal district and Sircilla in Karimnagar district. These would be modelled on the textile park in Tirupur in Tamil Nadu. For the Warangal textile park, the land belonging to the defunct Azam Jahi Mills will be utilized, and if necessary more land may be acquired, the Telangana CM seem to have suggested. R Vidyasagar Rao Takes Charge As Advisor To Telangana Government

R Vidyasagar Rao took charge as advisor to Government of Telangana in Chamber 408 of D Block in Secretariat in Hyderabad on Sunday. He would advise the government in Irrigation affairs in the newborn State. A well-known voice for the injustices met to Telangana in irrigation and water allotments, Mr Rao is a confidente of the Chief Minister and is one of the brains behind the Irrigation plans envisaged by the new Telangana Government.
