Telangana Declares PV’s Birth Anniversary A State Function

As we reported earlier about this, the Government of Telangana declared birth anniversary celebrations of late P.V. Narasimha Rao, former Prime Minster, as State function this year.

The Principal Secretary to Government (Political Affairs) Ajay Misra declared this and reviewed special arrangements that are being made for celebrating the 93rd birth anniversary of P.V. Narasimha Rao this June 28. K.V. Ramanachary, Advisor to Government, stressed the need to conduct the function in a befitting manner in the honor of P.V. Narasimha Rao. He said Governor, Chief Minister of Telangana, Ministers and other dignitaries will participate in the celebrations.

N. V. Subhash, Co-Chairman, P.V. Narasimha Rao Educational Research and Health Activities Charitable Trust, B. Venkateswara Rao, Secretary, Endowments, M.K Meena, District Collector, Hyderabad, Rahul Bojja, Special Commissioner, GHMC, N.V. Ramana Reddy, Special Secretary, GA (Protocol) Dept., and other officials participated in the coordination meeting held at the Secretariat.
