NIMS Bibinagar Getting Ready To Open In 2 Months!

TRS is making good of it’s promise to operationalize the 1,000 bed healthcare facility in NIMS Bibinagar campus within next 2 months. Telangana Government put pressure on NIMS to take the campus works on priority and NIMS has resumed work on the campus and is completing pending electrical and civic works. The building itself was ready 4 years ago but the works were not completed, allegedly deliberate neglect to delay the campus operations. The campus will cater to the healthcare needs of people from the 4 districts of Nalgonda, Mahbubnagar, Medak and Warangal districts. ERC Wilts Under Pressure; Says Only Centre Can Resolve PPA Controversy

After repeated directions by the load dispatch centres, the APERCs and the Central ERC to AP to maintain status quo regarding the power PPAs fell on deaf ears, the whole PPA cancellation gameplan by AP is heading towards a political settlement at the Centre. Telangana Launches 5 Point Retro-Fit Program For Sustainable IT Parks

Telangana IT & Industries Minister K Taraka Ramarao on Wednesday inaugurated a Retrofitting center on the premises of Tech Mahindra in Madhapur, Hyderabad. Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC), in technical cooperation with the Indo-German Environment Partnership Cell (IGEP), of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, has setup this Center and launched the Retro-fitting Programme for Information Technology Parks in Cyberabad Zone. Representatives from German Emabassy and many CEOs of IT companies participated at the event. Retrofitting is about adding new green-friendly features to older systems. It is aimed at improving the economic performance, work environment, employability and environment performance of the IT parks and will be initially tested in IT parks in Madhapur and Nanakramguda. “GIZ has already done ‘greening’ of industrial parks and retrofitting ...

Telangana Awaits Centre’s Next Move On Hyderabad’s Law & Order

After registering it’s strong protest with the Centre on the circular issued by Union Home Ministry regarding giving the Governor overriding powers over it in issues related to Hyderabad’s law & order, the Telangana Government is awaiting Centre’s next move on the issue. The Telangana chief secretary Rajeev Sharma on Monday wrote back to the Union home ministry stating that the circular is a clear-cut infringement on the powers of the elected government. Government to set up India’s biggest Incubator in the city soon to encourage ideas among students. Stating that software exports from Hyderabad increased 15 per cent last year touching Rs. 56,000 crore and the city will remain the growth engine. The IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao, rued the lack of entrepreneurial culture among students in the State and said the government would encourage students with ideas by setting up India’s biggest Incubator in the city within six months.
