Albany Telangana Friends (ATF) Celebrate Telangana State Formation

Celebrations over Telangana State formation continue across foreign shores. Albany Telangana Friends, an association of Telangana natives did a grand celebration of our historic achievement of statehood. The celebrations happened in an all day event on June 29, 2014 from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm at River Road Park, Niskayuna in Albany of New York State. Around 350 people gathered and participated in this event to mark Telangana’s freedom for self-rule. Many spoke at the event and recalled the Martyrs sacrifices for the cause and observed 2 minutes of silence in their memory. Telangana Govt. Releases Rs 272 Cr For Police Squad Cars & Other Vehicles

Telangana Government issues orders to release Rs 272 Cr for upgrading the police forces in Hyderabad and Cyberabad jurisdictions. Around 3883 vehicles are to be purchases as part of modernization. The vehicles would be linked to a unified command through internet and 4G facilities. Vehicles of all classes – Heavy Motor Vehicles, Light Motor Vehicles, Medium Motor Vehicles, Motor Cycles, are being ordered for. The police bosses are already looking at demonstrations from different motor companies to shortlist make and models for purchases. The Govt. sanctioned Rs 150.5 crore to Hyderabad Police and Rs 121.3 crore to Cyberabad police. The Govt allocated 7 HMVs, 129 MMVs, 862 LMVs, 1071 MC, a total 2069 vehicles to Hyderabad while allotting 19 HMVs, 171 MMVs, 622 LMVs, 1002 MC, ...
