Telangana RTC Logo Under Review After Objections Over Color

The Telangana RTC would be known as TSRTC and the logo design is complete. The logo which is going to brace every bus in the State now is ready. The logo is built around the central concept of bus steering, wheel and tire. While the steering forms the central part of the logo, words TSRTC are embedded between spokes, arranged around the steering, which also serves as the center of the wheel. Telangana maps straddle the tire on either side. The logo is under final review after some trade unions reportedly objected to the prominent use of rose color in the logo, which is the color associated with TRS party. The colors maybe tweaked a bit before finalizing the logo.

“Power crisis is a legacy we got. We are tackling it at multiple levels.”  Telangana IT minister KTR replied in a matter-of-fact tone to a delegate’s question on unscheduled power-cuts. The minister’s candid answers showed he meant business by bringing with him multiple government departments including GHMC, HMDA, Water Board, Infrastructure Corporation of Telangana, Police and Industries to address issues faced by the IT industry. Fate Of Nagarjuna’s N Convention Centre To Be Decided Today

After demolishing 24 unauthorized buildings in Ayyappa Society on the land that belongs to the Gurukul Ghatkesar Trust, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), revenue and irrigation departments have decided to take up a joint survey of Tammidi Kunta (Cheruvu) adjacent to Gurukul land in Madhapur. The authorities said the survey and marking of Full Tank Level (FTL) of the lake is being taken up following allegations that some of the constructions including the one owned by actor Akkineni Nagarjuna came up on the lake bed. Revenue authorities said the 20-acre Tammidi Kunta (Tummidipally cheruvu as per the revenue records) was encroached upon by some people following which a survey of all lakes in the entire Greater Hyderabad area was carried out ...

Telangana Govt. To Set Up TASK To Make Engg. Students Readily Employable

Identifying the fact that most of the engineering graduates lack readily employable skills, the government of Telangana has decided to set up Telangana Academy of Skill and Knowledge (Task) to impart skills during their course period itself, with the help of IT companies. Under TASK, the IT companies would be requested to impart employable skills by selecting some students each as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR). The idea is to make the engineering graduates readily employable by the time they complete the four-year academic course. Incubation centres Minister for Information Technology K.T.
