Telangana To Release 3.5 TMC From Sagar After AP Asked For 10 TMC & CWC Suggested 4 TMC

Telangana agreed to release 3.5 TMC water to Krishna delta after it’s officials met with CWC Chiarman AB Pandya. Pandya met the chief secretaries of both the states and also held a joint meeting with the principal secretaries of the irrigation department of the two states before arriving at the quantum of water to be released. AP asked for 10 TMC and insisted it is all for drinking water. KCR Keeps His Word: Demolition On To Reclaim Illegally Occupied Gurukul Trust Lands

Within a day after CM KCR ordered demolition of illegal buildings, GHMC along with machinery and a huge posse of police entered the trust lands and is pulling down structures that were not regularized, even with the opportunities earlier Governments gave. The reason is said to be that the lands upon which the structures are built are themselves not registered implying an illegal occupation. The occupations have been done with active support of earlier governments. The result is that most of the 627 acre prime property abutting Hitech City is occupied by land sharks. Multi-storied bulidings for commercial spaces, colleges, hostels, apartments etc came up by dozens in those lands. Sircilla & Warangal To Get Textile Parks; Azam Jahi Mills Land To Be Utilized Again

Telangana government is planning to set up textile parks in Warangal district and Sircilla in Karimnagar district. These would be modelled on the textile park in Tirupur in Tamil Nadu. For the Warangal textile park, the land belonging to the defunct Azam Jahi Mills will be utilized, and if necessary more land may be acquired, the Telangana CM seem to have suggested. As per news emanating from Govt. sources, Spl. chief secretary Pradeep Chandra along with other officials is asked to come up with comprehensive plans.
