Telangana government is planning to set up textile parks in Warangal district and Sircilla in Karimnagar district. These would be modelled on the textile park in Tirupur in Tamil Nadu. For the Warangal textile park, the land belonging to the defunct Azam Jahi Mills will be utilized, and if necessary more land may be acquired, the Telangana CM seem to have suggested.
