72 MW – Another Case Of Power Loss From Telangana’s Share

In addition to the power losses they already pointed out, to the tune of 955 MW, the Telangana Electricity Employees’ JAC pointed out another instance now where AP is taking power from Telangana’s share that was mandated through AP Re-organization Act. TEEJAC proved earlier that Telangana is losing an estimated 17.1 million units of power everyday with AP’s acts of defiance towards the AP ReOrg Act. In the latest example, Telangana’s loss is 72 MW. With this, the total loss of share for Telangana increased to 1027 MW. Hyderabad Metro Planning Realignment To Avoid Heritage Structures

After Telangana CM asked them to look for alternatives to avoid loss to heritage structures, L&T and HMR have been actively looking at realignment options in Corridor 2 to avoid the spots mentioned by State Government. Initially, the CM asked Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) to look at the option of going underground at to save specific heritage spots. Some media channels raised propaganda against Telangana government saying it’s actions led to L&T quitting Hyderabad Metro Project. AP CM Chandrababu Naidus’ penchant for propaganda against Telangana Govt. miserably failed when he tried raking up a controversy about the fence that has been put up between the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh sections within Secretariat in Hyderabad.
