BJP-TDP Combine Moves To Strip Telangana Of Law & Order Powers Over Hyderabad

After issues over Polavaram, Power PPAs, Water to Delta, the BJP and TDP combine in AP and in Centre are moving to hand the powers over law & order in Hyderabad and Cyberabad jurisdictions to the common governor. As per news from Delhi, the centre reportedly prepared this draft after AP CM Chandrababu Naidu gave it in writing to the Centre that the the law & order in Hyderabad should be maintained through the police forces of both AP & Telangana. Mr Naidu asked in his letter that all powers over law& order should be vested with the Governor and that the Commissioners of police should report directly to the Governor and not either of the State Governments. Telangana Reclaiming The Bhoodan Dream It Gave Shape To

Telangana Bhoodan Authority was constituted here on Saturday. The state government adapted Andhra Pradesh Bhoodan and Gramdhan Act, 1965 to the state of Telangana under Section 101 of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014. The government issues GO 11 and appointed principal secretary (Revenue) as authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties of the Telangana Bhoodan Board. Immediately, 3500 files of the existing AP Bhoodan Yagna board have been moved from it’s present headquarters in Gandhi Bhawan to CCLA office. The files are now being studied to see where all the original land bank was and how much of it is occupied illegally. Woes Of Those Rescued From Iraq Far From Over

78 landed in Hyderabad, from among the 183 Indians who arrived to India by a special Air India flight from Erbil, capital of Iraq’s Kurdistan region. The flight reached Hyderabad via Kochi, where 46 nurses from Kerala disembarked. The flight initially landed in Mumbai where no one got down. An official of Telangana government said 52 are from the state were among those who returned Saturday. 40 of them belonged to Karimnagar district, nine to Adilabad district, two to Medak and one to Nizamabad district. Around 26 from AP also got down at the Hyderabad airport. There were emotional scenes at the airport as the workers re-united with their families. Telangana Kicks Off Work For India’s Largest Solar Park!

Telangana is going to challenge Gujarat for the title of the State with India’s largest solar park. Telangana has started the due process for setting up a 1000 MW plant in Mahbubnagar. The Telangana Government has earlier decided  to set up an integrated 1,000 MW solar power generation park at the backward district of Mahbubnagar. The project is being taken up by Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) in partnership with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). After getting SECI’s approval, Telangana has been moving quickly to put together the action plan to go ahead. About 5,000 acres has been allocated for the park.
