Buses and trains from Mumbai to Telangana are running packed with thousands belonging to the newly-formed State, currently residing here, rushing to their native places to enrol in the State-wide ‘Intensive Household Survey 2014’ to be held next week. The National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM) located in Hyderabad will be managed by Telangana Government, declared a press release on behalf of Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma. NITHM is a registered society for Tourism and Hospitality Management, Training and Research established by State Government with the help of Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. “As per the AP Reorganization Act 2014, section 75, the institute is listed at Sl.No.100 in 10th schedule. Telangana Government has issued GO 18 notifying the above new logo and badges for the police force in the new, India’s 29th, state. The logo noticeably has Hindi and English but no Telugu in it. Telangana Government has relieved, with immediate effect from the State Cadre, the services of Sri Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi, IAS (1999) so that he can go on Central deputation.
