Spl Officers Appointed For Household Survey On Aug 19th

Go 369 has been issued by the State Govt. appointing special officers for each district to oversee the intensive household survey on the 19th this month. The GO read “In pursuance of the discussions during the meeting held on 01.08.2014, Government have decided to conduct an ‘Intensive Household Survey’, covering all the households in the Telangana State for creating a reliable and accurate database in order to facilitate effective implementation of various Government programmes and to ensure that the benefits reach the eligible deserving people. Thousands Returning To Telangana For Aug 19th Survey

Buses and trains from Mumbai to Telangana are running packed with thousands belonging to the newly-formed State, currently residing here, rushing to their native places to enrol in the State-wide ‘Intensive Household Survey 2014’ to be held next week. Lakhs of people from Telangana districts have migrated to States like Maharashtra, Gujarat in search of livelihood. Nearly 8 lakh Telangana people reportedly live in Mumbai. For the one-day ‘Samagra Kutumba Survey’ or ‘Intensive Household Survey 2014’ to be held on August 19, one or two members from each migrated family are returning to their homes to enrol in it, carrying required documents of the rest of the family members. Telangana Govt. Says NITHM Ownership Is A Closed Chapter

The National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM) located in Hyderabad will be managed by Telangana Government, declared a press release on behalf of Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma. NITHM is a registered society for Tourism and Hospitality Management, Training and Research established by State Government with the help of Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. “As per the AP Reorganization Act 2014, section 75, the institute is listed at Sl.No.100 in 10th schedule. The institute is situated in Hyderabad and as per the provisions of the Act, the institute which is physically located in Telangana will be managed by Telangana state where it is located. Telangana Police Logo Released By State Government

Telangana Government has issued GO 18 notifying the above new logo and badges for the police force in the new, India’s 29th, state. The logo noticeably has Hindi and English but no Telugu in it. It remained unchanged from what was reported 20 days ago. As an exercise of image management of the police force and to communicate the changes in the new state, the new logo and badge has been decided over last 2 months even as the police force is being modernised with new policing methods and new machinery. Telangana TRANSCO CMD Rizvi Relieved For Central Deputation

Telangana Government has relieved, with immediate effect from the State Cadre, the services of Sri Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi, IAS (1999) so that he can go on Central deputation. The Government issued a GO stating “Sri Syed Ali Murtaza Rizvi, IAS (1999) shall hand over the charge of the post of Chairman and Managing Director, Telangana TRANSCO to Sri Ahmad Nadeem, IAS (1997), Commissioner, Prohibition & Excise, Hyderabad, who is placed in full additional charge of the said post, until further orders”.  Government of India is posting Mr Rizvi as Director in Cabinet Secretariat under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years.
