KCR Unveils Logo, Puts New Badges On Top Cops

Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao unveiled the new logo of Telangana state police at the Secretariat on Tuesday. He also put on the newly designed badges onto the top officer’s uniforms on the occasion.  According to an official release, the logo was finalised after two rounds of scrutiny by senior police officials and a team of Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) from hundreds of designs. A design by Laxman Aelay, a renowned artist, was selected.  The logo of the TSP, which is a visible element of the force, was launched by the Honourable Chief Minister of Telangana, Sri. K. Aug 19 Declared Holiday

Telangana State Government on Tuesday declared a public holiday on Aug 19 on the account of Intensive Household Survey. In an official release, Chief Minister’s Office noted that all government offices, private firms and business establishments will remain shut on the day. The Government requested all firms to cooperate with the Government by shutting down and enabling the survey.

TS Govt Waives Off Farm Loans Upto 1 Lac

In a significant development,Telangana State cabinet decided to waive off farm loans up to 1 lakh, as per ruling TRS party election manifesto. The step came even as the RBI decided to limit it’s loan rescheduling plan for only a portion of the State. Chief Minister KCR signed off on the waiver in Monday’s cabinet meet but the official orders are yet to be made public. In all, 39,07,409 farmers are likely to get benefited from the government decision, which may cost the TS Govt. close to Rs 19,000 Cr. Crop loan, gold loan taken for agricultural needs and agricultural term loans up to Rs. 1 lakh per farmer would be written off as part of the waiver scheme. ‘Telangana Increment’ Starts With August Salary

Chief Minister KCR has issued orders to give the much hyped Telangana increment. GO has been in this regard after a Cabinet decision. One more election promise of TRS has been fulfilled. The special increment would be given along with the salary for August. The increment would also be given to the staff of Government Degree Colleges, Polytechnic Colleges and also the employees of universities approved by the UGC and AICTE. The employees are likely to get anything between Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000 as Telangana increment, depending on their cadre and position. The increment would last all through the service. The Telangana people just hope the increment brings more commitment and less corruption among the employees in the new State, aiming to be golden Telangana!
