Chief Minister KCR came down heavily on land grabbers in the press conference on Wednesday. He said some in media and private groups are trying to justify encroachments of Govt lands by comparing those with Microsoft and Infosys which are built on what were once wakf lands. He said these escape routes wont work and pointed to the fact that while those companies were allotted lands by Governments, companies like Lanco and MR Properties cheated Government by using lands allotted to them for purposes other than what they were meant for. He said the Govt. would take action against them. Telangana Cabinet’s 43 Critical Decisions; FAST Scheme Replaces Fee Reimbursement

CM KCR’s Spectacular Presentation Of Telangana’s Issues & Solutions In The Historic 1st Session

CM KCR and his cabinet decided upon 43 important decisions today. Among the important decisions, the Government reiterated it will issue loan waiver as per poll promise and that would benefit 39,07,409 farmers. The Govt scrapped Fee Reimbursement & Introduced a new scheme called Financial Assistance to Students of Telangana (FAST) in it’s place. FAST issues scholarship based on income and nativity criteria to the students. A committee will shortly issue all guidelines in this regard. For nativity, 1956 is considered cutoff for families looking to benefit under the scheme. The CM explained the decisions and some additional issue sin the press conferences after the cabinet meet today. We bring here most of the decisions and declarations made today. ‘Jaya Jaya He Telangana’ To Be Introduced In All Schools Shortly

“Jaya Jaya He Telangana”  the song written by noted lyricist Andesri, which is expected to be declared a State song, is to be introduced in all government and private schools across the state, declared Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy. Talking to reporters, he said that the government will soon release a circular in this regard. Elaborate arrangements are being made to ensure that the students know the state song and how to sing it. All schools would be instructed in detail on how to take up the song and spread it among their students.
