AP Using All It’s Power Produced And Putting Southern Grid At Risk Of Collapse!

The Southern Grid is facing grave risk due to the adamant behaviour of the AP Generation Corporation. “Andhra Pradesh is playing an extremely dangerous game with the Southern Region Load Despatch Centre, Bangalore. Given its behaviour today, the grid can collapse if AP overdraws,” a top official source told a national daily.  Noticing the seriousness of the situation, Telangana chief minister Mr K Chandrashekar Rao rushed power secretary Mr Suresh Chanda to Delhi this evening. The latter also spoke to the secretary, Union ministry of power and NTPC authorities. Mr Rao asked officials to immediately talk with other states to purchase power if the situation demands. Telangana With A 1,000 MW Solar Park, Set To Make Mahabubnagar Solar HotSpot

The Telangana Government has zeroed in on the backward district of Mahbubnagar to set up an integrated 1,000 mw solar power generation park. The project will to be taken up by Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation in partnership with Solar Energy Corporation of India. The SECI has given in-principle approval for the park, K. Pradeep Chandra, Principal Chief Secretary, Industries, Government of Telangana, said. Speaking on the sidelines of CII PaperTech conference, he said that typically one MW requires an investment of about Rs 6 crore. The developers of projects will bring in these investments. The Lies In The FirstPost Article Accusing KCR Of Launching Proxy War On Media

The Firstpost article insinuating KCR and TRS Government of launching a proxy war on media is wrong with facts and economical with truth on several counts. Among many blunders it commits, it says - Telangana CM KCR moved a resolution in the assembly and council to take action against TV9 and ABN. The fact is that the resolution is only about TV9′s derogatory program Bullet News and not about ABN, about which it made no reference. Secondly, the article says the assembly resolution is an ‘extreme step’ and that the TDP tried stopping it but accepted majority opinion. This is outrageous accusation and far from truth. The face-off, since last week, between the Telangana Assembly and a section of the Seemandhra media which has apparently not reconciled itself to the birth of the new state has raised vital legal issues. The new Assembly passed a resolution on June 14, authorising speaker Madhusudanachary to take stern action against the news channel TV9. The Speaker referred the issue to a special committee (in the absence of a Privileges Committee). Telangana To Implead Into Brijesh Kumar Tribunal Hearings For It’s Water Share

A review meeting on irrigation projects chaired by CM KCR decided for the State to file an implead petition before the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal headed by retired SC Judge Brijesh Kumar for redistribution of waters between Telangana & AP. Earlier this year, the term of the tribunal has been extended to enable apportionment of water between Telangana and the successor state of Andhra Pradesh and the then Central govt. asked the tribunal to make the allocation on the basis of the projects located in each of the 2 States and its requirement of water.
