CM KCR & CM Naidu Seen In A Cheerful Exchange!

In the chill of bifurcation and the subsequent confrontations over several issues, CMs KCR and CBN never met. The mush awaited Iftar party hosted by the Governor which was expected to be their first meeting after becoming CMs, didn’t quite happen as KCR didn’t make it.

So when they met at Begumpet airport, there was a photographer’s delight. And it is satisfied big time. The CMs not just greeted and introduced their cabinet colleagues to each other but were involved in an animated cheerful exchange. The Governor, who is known for his penchant for wit, joined them.

The occasion was receiving President Pranab Mukherjee at the old airport at Begumpet here. KCR welcomed Naidu when he reached the airport. The chief ministers of the two Telugu states shook hands and exchanged pleasantries. KCR introduced his two deputy chief ministers and other ministers to Naidu.

The two states are currently locked in a bitter row over various issues like sharing of electricity, bifurcation of employees and reimbursement of students’ fee. While there is no love lost between the two CMs, the way they managed this meeting showed how politicians can be different from common people!
