KCR & Chandrababu Hold Talks & Claim Success

Telangana and AP CMs KCR and Chandrababu Naidu met at the Raj Bhavan and discussed for over 2 hours extensively on several issues, from employee allotment to sharing office space in the legislature. In their press conferences after the meeting, both CMs claimed vital progress and consensus on several issues and also declared that they have decided to join hands to keep Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on the development track and if need be, exert pressure on the Centre to ensure that the two states of Telugus get their due. TeNA’s Telangana Float At India Day Parade In New York

TeNa has organized a Telangana float this year at the New York City India Day Parade, which is organized on the occasion of India’s Independence day every year. For the past two years, TeNA has been participating in this parade and showcasing Telangana identity and culture by displaying Telangana cultural and historical symbols such as Bathukamma, Bonalu, Pochampally Sarees, Pembarthy metal works, Warangal Fort Thoranam, Charminar etc. This time being special, with Telangana State a reality, TeNA has put up a float and here are some pictures of it.

“I am a Hitler and I will be worse than Hitler if need be, to stop illegalities”

CM KCR once again defended his government’s decision to hold a day-long Intensive Household Survey, the Samagra Kutumba Survey, of Telangana residents that is costing the new state Rs. 20 crore, When asked about he being compared to Hitler by some people for his forceful decisions, the CM admitted that he had been called Hitler and he was not ashamed of it. Without mincing words, KCR said “I am a Hitler and I will be worse than Hitler if need be, to stop illegalities,”. The Telangana Government is planning to use the day long survey to plug irregularities in PDS, Pensions and other welfare schemes. The decades long irregularities will cost the newborn State Rs 10,000 Cr an year.

The happening event, ‘India Day Parade’ at New York has a new addition this year, and it definitely stole hearts of many. The Pre-visits would give away survey forms and answer questions people have on the survey and the process. The pre-visits are planned for today and tomorrow as a preparatory exercise for the survey.
