Telangana To Host 1st Global Event – Indo-Global Millennium Healthcare Summit & Expo

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao will formally inaugurate a three-day first and Expo 2014, according to CD Arha, Chairman Indus Foundation. Addressing the media at Secretariat along with Prof. Steve Walton (Australia) and Janaki Prasad, RMO, Niloufer Hospital here, Arha said the Chief Minister extended full support to the international summit to be attended by Deputy Chief Minister and Medical and Healthcare Minister Dr Rajaiah. The healthcare summit will help professionals, entrepreneurs, industry players, investors and global institutions to collaborate for taking advantage of the latest innovation and advances, he said. Hitachi Consulting To Expand Operations In Hyderabad

Information Technology Minister KT Rama Rao visited the Hitachi Consulting at Nanakramguda SEZ here on Thursday. During the visit, the Minister interacted with senior officials of Hitachi Consulting Inc and gave the value proposition of expansion of Hitachi Consulting in Hyderabad. He also addressed all the Software Professionals working in Hitachi. The State Government had earlier allotted 7.3 acres of land to Hitachi Consulting. The company has over 1900 Software professionals operating out of their Development center in Nanakramguda. Hitachi has expressed positive response to the request made by the Minister for their expansion in Hyderabad. KTR has assured of all required support to Hitachi Consulting during their expansion process in Hyderabad.

Telangana Plans To Fund Start-Ups Through A Technology Development Bank (TDB)

The newly formed Telangana government is building the country’s biggest incubation facility and creating a technology development bank to woo start-ups to the capital Hyderabad, whose image has taken a beating due to the Telangana statehood movement. The technology development bank (TDB) will provide funding to innovative start-ups in both hardware and software sectors, state information technology minister K.T. Rama Rao said on Thursday. The Firstpost article insinuating KCR and TRS Government of launching a proxy war on media is wrong with facts and economical with truth on several counts. Among many blunders it commits, it says - Telangana CM KCR moved a resolution in the assembly and council to take action against TV9 and ABN. The fact is that the resolution is only about TV9′s derogatory program Bullet News and not about ABN, about which it made no reference. Secondly, the article says the assembly resolution is an ‘extreme step’ and that the TDP tried stopping it but accepted majority opinion. This is outrageous accusation and far from truth. The face-off, since last week, between the Telangana Assembly and a section of the Seemandhra media which has apparently not reconciled itself to the birth of the new state has raised vital legal issues. The new Assembly passed a resolution on June 14, authorising speaker Madhusudanachary to take stern action against the news channel TV9. The Speaker referred the issue to a special committee (in the absence of a Privileges Committee).
