Why is Andhra media mum on Asad’s comments?

Unlike the very public outrage they express when KCR states the obvious about employee repatriation, Andhra media seems to be acting asleep when a major stakeholder in Hyderabad tore apart the claims of Andhra leaders over Hyderabad. Asaduddin Owaisi not just picked up individuals and called them names but dubbed the 50+ year rule of AP over Hyderabad as ‘loot’. Yet there is deafening silence from the 3 major dailies and the dozen odd news channels that lose no opportunity in attacking anyone who differs with their political view.

The fact is that Owaisi’s view not just decimated the demands of some politicians to make Hyderabad a UT but put to permanent rest that GoM is considering ‘central rule’ over Hyderabad. Because if those rumors were true, MIM would have known and if he knew, he would not have taken sides so clearly on Telangana. Observers say by remaining silent till the nth hour, he chose the winning side and now came out in open. That must have distressed Andhra media and made them silent.
