Telangana State Govt. To Celebrate PV Narasimha Rao’s 93rd Birth Anniversary

The Telangana State Government has taken a decision to celebrate the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Telangana politician P V Narasimha Rao on a grand scale on June 28. Government Advisor and former IAS officer Ramana Chary today held a high-level review meeting at the Secretariat here. He is said to have directed the officials to take all measures for the event to recall the exemplary services of former Prime Minister, Telangana politician and economic reformist, who brought laurels. Governor Told 17,513 Acres Worth Rs 3,00,000 Cr. Illegally Occupied In RangaReddy

The purging exercise taken up by the Telangana government to recover encroached land has revealed that 17,513 acres of government land worth Rs three lakh crore in Ranga Reddy district was taken over illegally by individuals and institutions, many of them being either politicians or industrialists from the Seemandhra region. And leading the pack was a former minister in the previous Congress government who had held an important portfolio.This was the finding of a recent survey conducted by the Ranga Reddy district administration. As per the survey, the total government-owned land in RR district stands at 5.53 lakh acre. Telangana With A 1,000 MW Solar Park, Set To Make Mahabubnagar Solar HotSpot

The Telangana Government has zeroed in on the backward district of Mahbubnagar to set up an integrated 1,000 mw solar power generation park. The project will to be taken up by Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation in partnership with Solar Energy Corporation of India. The SECI has given in-principle approval for the park, K. Pradeep Chandra, Principal Chief Secretary, Industries, Government of Telangana, said. Speaking on the sidelines of CII PaperTech conference, he said that typically one MW requires an investment of about Rs 6 crore. The developers of projects will bring in these investments. Telangana Plans To Fund Start-Ups Through A Technology Development Bank (TDB)

The newly formed Telangana government is building the country’s biggest incubation facility and creating a technology development bank to woo start-ups to the capital Hyderabad, whose image has taken a beating due to the Telangana statehood movement. The technology development bank (TDB) will provide funding to innovative start-ups in both hardware and software sectors, state information technology minister K.T. Rama Rao said on Thursday.
