Telangana gets into agitation mode amidst Congress media leaks on RayalaTelangana

Congress has carefully leaked into media that GoM is examining the RayalaTelangana proposal. The GoM itself was constituted as per Cabinet’s approval for carving out Telangana and not RayalaTelangana. However, it’s terms of reference didn’t mention the number of districts unlike the CWC resolution which stated a 10 district Telangana. This has given the GoM the leeway to propose several ideas, one which according to the PTI report is a RayalaTelangana proposal. TRS called for a bandh on 5th Dec and Telangana is getting into agitation mode again to fight this proposal getting finalized into the AP Reorganization Bill. GoM on Telangana meeting again tomorrow to examine Rayala-Telangana proposal

The GoM, set up to look into the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, on Tuesday could not finalise its report and the draft bill on Telangana and decided to meet again tomorrow before submitting them to the Union Cabinet. The Group of Ministers, in its meeting today discussed issues related to providing special status to both the states under Article 371-D of the Constitution and believed to have examined a proposal to include two districts of Rayalseema in Telangana. New Delhi: In an all-party meeting held today in Delhi, the principal opposition party, the BJP, has demanded a special discussion on internal security with special focus on the serial blasts that took place before Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Patna on October 27. “We have asked the government for a discussion on internal security, especially over the Patna blasts,” the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj, told reporters. “It’s a short session.
