Telangana TDP President L. Ramana criticized KCR for not thanking Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for his letter to the Centre in favour of formation of Telangana in the past.
Mr Ramana said while the CM generously thanked AICC president Sonia Gandhi, BJP president Rajnath Singh, CPI for Telangana Statehood, he did not care to thank Mr Naidu. He pointed out that the TD had given a letter to the Centre in favour of a separate Telangana in 2009 and sent the same letter in 2012 to Centre.
He added that this was irresponsible on part of Mr Rao, the first CM of Telangana to ignore the ‘contributions’ of Naidu for Telangan statehood.
