Only yesterday, Telangana Talkies carried  a story on the circumstances surrounding transfer of Prinicpal Secretary (Energy), Mr. Suresh Chanda and wondered whose job would the next meeting cost. And yellow media created a good story around that inconsequential transfer to put the state government in bad light. Right from day 1, there was criticism of that officer’s lack of enthusiasm to understand and defend Telangana’s interests. 72 MW – Another Case Of Power Loss From Telangana’s Share

In addition to the power losses they already pointed out, to the tune of 955 MW, the Telangana Electricity Employees’ JAC pointed out another instance now where AP is taking power from Telangana’s share that was mandated through AP Re-organization Act. TEEJAC proved earlier that Telangana is losing an estimated 17.1 million units of power everyday with AP’s acts of defiance towards the AP ReOrg Act. In the latest example, Telangana’s loss is 72 MW. With this, the total loss of share for Telangana increased to 1027 MW.
