Telangana Talkies published 10 days ago that Centre started considering Telangana for an AIIMS like hospital along with other States. That development came after severe criticism from Telangana MPs who exposed the Centre’s bias against the newest state by excluding only Telangana and writing to all other states about setting up AIIMS in those states.  According to the earlier plans of centre, every state in India would have got an AIIMS in next 5 years but not Telangana. Centre reportedly conveyed to the Telangana State Government that it is now considering setting up AIIMS in Telangana too. Earlier, Telangana Talkies has published how Centre has written to every state with a proposal to set up AIIMS but ignored Telangana.
