Modi Sarkar Starts With A Lie!

Modi showed what he meant by his oft repeated belief – ‘Minimum Government, Maximum Governance’. In the very 1st cabinet meeting, Modi’s Govt passed an ordinance instead of choosing to discuss the issue pertaining to a State’s border in Parliament. And worse, it lied about it in the press conference soon after the cabinet meet saying the issue pertaining to the ordinance wasn’t even discussed! The Ordinance became public news only after 24 hours when it reached the President. It is such a shame a Govt. which got such an overwhelming mandate can’t deliberate and decide in this democracy and instead chooses the ordinance path to alter a State’s border in violation of Article 3.

The ordinance is for merging 7 mandals of Khammam district of yet to be formed Telangana State into the to-be-formed Andhra Pradesh State. Both the States would come into being on June 2nd. With the active connivance of TDP, the party that is set to rule AP, Modi Sarkar took this extreme decision hardly a week before the the Parliament session and Telangana State creation. Looks like Modi wants to run a China style government letting out little information or outrightly lying to go with his and his partner’s agenda. There is a good probability this ordinance would be struck by the court and annulled putting the Modi sarkar to shame.
