TRS president and Chief Minister KCR today profusely thanked AICC president Sonia Gandhi for granting statehood to Telangana.
Replying to the Governor’s address in the Assembly on Friday, KCR said the Telangana State could become a reality only due to the resolute initiative taken by Sonia Gandhi. He also thanked the 33 parties which extended wholehearted support for formation of Telangana State.
The Telangana Chief Minister also said BJP president Rajnath Singh and then Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj also helped in realising the Statehood dream. He said the formation of the State is the result of combined efforts of all and added that he would take the help of all parties to strive for a Golden Telangana.
