స్వయంకృతాపరాధము…
టివి9, ఎబిన్ ల ప్రసారాల నిలిపివేతపై ఆశించినంతగ మేధావుల నుండి స్పందన రానందుకు ఎబిన్ అధినేత, రాధాక్రిష్ణ ఖిన్నుడైనట్టున్నారు.
ఇదేనా ప్రజాస్వామ్య తెలంగాణ? ఇందుకేనా తెలంగాణ కోసం పోరాడింది? అని తన బాధను లోకం బాధగ చెప్పే ప్రయత్నం చేసినా, పెద్ధగ ఫలితం కల్గినట్టులేదు.
అయినా, ప్రజాస్వామ్య పరిరక్షనకు మీరెంతగా పాటుపడిందీ…, పిడికెడు గుత్తేదార్ల కొమ్ముకాస్తు, కోట్లాది ప్రజల అశలపై ఎట్లా నీళ్ళు చల్లడానికి ప్రయత్నించిందీ…, తెలంగాణ వాదమే లేదనీ, తెలంగాణ రానే రాదనీ, రెచ్చగొట్టి, వందల విద్యార్థుల ఆత్మ హత్యలకు ఎట్లా కారణమైందీ…, ఇంకా ఏ మేధావి మరవలేదు. అవి ఇప్పట్లో మరిచేవి కావు.
నిజానికి, ఈ చైతన్యం మీ చలవే!. నాలుగున్నరేల్ల క్రితం తెలంగాణ ప్రకటించబడినపుడు, ప్రజాస్వామ్యమంటె ఏమిటో, అందులో మీడియా పాత్ర ఎట్లుండాలో, మీరు గనక చూపించక పోయుంటె, ఒక సగటు మనిషికి ఈ రాజకీయలు అర్థం అయ్యేవి కావు, తన వాడెవడో…, తనతోనే ఉండి గోతులు తీసే వాడెవొడో… తెలిసేదీ కాదు.
ఆయినా ఇప్పుడు బాదపడి ఏం లాభం రాధాక్రిష్ణ గారు, మహానది లాంటి తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమంలో, ఏ పిల్ల కాలువను పట్టుకొని వచ్చి కలిసినా, ఈరోజు మీరిట్ల ఏకాకి అయ్యే పరిస్థితి వచ్చేది కాదు.
ఉన్నత చదువులు చదివిన విద్యార్థులు తమను తాము కాల్చుకొని బూడిదైతున్నపుడు, వారు పడిన వేదనలో వెయ్యోవంతు అర్థం చేసుకొని ఉంటే… జీవనదులు పారుతున్న ప్రాంతం త్రాగునీటికి కరువైన పరిస్థితిని ప్రశ్నించి ఉంటే… క్రింది ఈ-మెయిల్ లాంటి వందల వేల ఫిర్యాదులు అందినపుడు, స్పౄహ కలిగి మసులుకొని ఉంటే…
ఈరోజు మిమ్మల్ని అయ్యో అనేవారే!. మీతో కలిసి నడిసే వారే!!.
ఆందుకే ఇది మీ స్వయంకృతాపరాధమే!.

I am writing this letter with my deepest anguish for the partiality shown by the media (mainly your channel) towards Telangana de-merger agitation. When TV-9 was launched with a caption “for a better society”, most of the common people like me felt happy and subscribed to your channel for un-biased NEWS. But today, each single person who is following the mighty agitation knows how biased your channel is. I take few instances where your channel caught naked for your biased NEWS broadcast. What was the need to use three helicopters for covering yesterdays “Assembly Muttadi”? Is it not true that you used helicopters for informing police about the student mobs in the streets to nullify the call(Assembly Muttadi) effect?
Is it not true that you reported the number of students by downsizing than the real number?
Is it not true that you only broadcasted the news from the streets where fewer students gathered by leaving the phenomenal crowds?
How come Tigerwoods love story became a headline story for you (a local channel) where you did not even find time for showing a student self sacrifice (a local news)? ( I am referring to your yesterdays 9pm prime news here)
How much are you covering the agitation where each village in the region unanimously supporting and looking for the justice?
I don’t have to remind you that TV-9 is NOT the lone option for people in this competitive NEWS broadcasting world. If it is true that people moved to TV-9 for un-biased NEWS, they do move out (from TV-9) to other channels for the same reason.
In my opinion the current agitation is not less than any of our famous epics (i.e: Mahabharatha and Ramayana) where at the end truthfulness saw the victory over the evils. So, an individual/organization can NOT make any difference to end result of mighty agitations like this, but it does make difference to the individuals/organizations based on which side they take.
