What if Odisha CM had an Eenadu and AndhraJyothi to publicize!?

In a rare international acclaim, State of Odisha won praise from World Bank for its disaster management.

“The Odisha State Disaster Management Authority (OSDMA) and the Government of Odisha need to be given full credit for their unwavering commitment to disaster preparedness and risk mitigation,” the Bank said. Following the disaster in 1999, Odisha set up the OSDMA, the first state agency focused exclusively on disaster management in India.

Many are wondering how many international agencies have praised Odisha for its preparedness and yet its CM Naveen Patnaik maintains a low profile. If only our Chandrababu were in that position, imagine what Eenadu and Andhrajyothy would have done! They have already made him ‘Hitechbabu’. After such a feat like Patnaik’s, they would have created such a big story on how he mnaged it and maybe they would have publicized him as ‘CycloneKiBaap’!
