After taking up up cudgels on behalf of the boycotted channels, AP students losing fee reimbursement in TS and of course on behalf of the Centre on Polavaram and Hyderabad law & order issues, Mr Reddy now finds choosing 1000 year old Golconda obnoxious. Kishan Reddy termed Golconda as a symbol of cruel rule of Nizam altogether forgetting the fort has a rich 100o year history, longer than that of Red Fort. He suggested the TS Govt should instead celebrate a ‘liberation day’ on Golconda to mark the defeat of the Nizam at the hands of the Indian army.
