BJP and TDP have decided to contest the next State elections and General elections in an alliance in Andhra and Telangana, according to sources within BJP in New Delhi. Both the parties are of the firm opinion that UPA would not go back on the Telangana Bill and that the Telangana State is bound to be a reality by end of February. The parties have decided to announce their alliance only after the Parliament passes the Telangana Bill. This is to avoid unnecessary backlash they expect in both regions.
