The National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM) located in Hyderabad will be managed by Telangana Government, declared a press release on behalf of Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma. NITHM is a registered society for Tourism and Hospitality Management, Training and Research established by State Government with the help of Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. “As per the AP Reorganization Act 2014, section 75, the institute is listed at Sl.No.100 in 10th schedule. The institute is situated in Hyderabad and as per the provisions of the Act, the institute which is physically located in Telangana will be managed by Telangana state where it is located. However, Its services will also be offered to the successor state i.e. Andhra Pradesh on mutually agreed terms.” ...
