The Centre has granted Rs 75 Cr for tourism development in Telangana, as per the prioritization done during UPA Government’s rule in the meeting held on 10 Jan, 2014. The funds are from Ministry of Tourism’s yearly Central Financial Assistance (CFA) program which extends support to various State Governments in developing tourist destinations. The Warangal – Karimnagar Mega Circuit project got Rs 50 Cr alloted.
