Vijay Kumar, known for leading the task force against dreaded bandit Veerappan, is entrusted to lead a task force, to examine the Law & Order complexities in Hyderabad and recommend a solution to the Centre on how best it can deal with keeping its word on ensuring ‘safety’ of Andhras in Hyderabad after the Telangana State is formed. Mr. Kumar is presently serving as Senior security advisor (Naxal Management), Ministry of Home Affairs.
