Notwithstanding the furor caused by the dharna of the Gurukul teachers against RS Praveen Kumar IPS, Secretary, Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society, CM KCR firmly backed the officer and asserted in the T News Live show that the IPS officer’s services would continue to be used for the cause of education. This is the 2nd time in last week that the CM extended support to the beleaguered officer. On 14th July, the Gurukul teachers held talks with the Secretary over the multiple objections they raised against him.
