With the APNGOs calling off stir and the Andhra politicians by and large accepting the demerger is inevitable, will there be any initiative for negotiations on the division of assets between the 2 regions? That is the million dollar questions facing the political pundits of the State. If there is no such initiative and the centre indeed goes ahead dividing the assets and proceeding with the bill, there could be longstanding acrimony between the 2 States on several issues after they are formed.
