President Pranab Praises KCR For Achieving Telangana

Telangana CM KCR payed a courtesy call to President Pranab on his maiden visit to Delhi as Chief Minister. KCR has been in touch with Pranab as part of his lobbying efforts over the years for statehood. Pranab then headed quite a few committees for Congress and the Central Govt. on the Telangana statehood issue.

Now that KCR is the CM of the Telangana State, the visit is sweet for KCR. The President too, apparently was in jovial mood and congratulated KCR for achieving statehood for Telangana. The President reportedly remarked, “Only you could do it. You started it and you finished it. A lot of people could not see Telangana”.

KCR was visibly bowled by the compliments from the first citizen of the country. He bowed and thanked the President for his support over the years.
