Marri on an image-building exercise through Facebook & Twitter!?

The race for Telangana CM post has has begun within the ruling Congress. Veterans like S Jaipal Reddy and Marri Shashidhar Reddy who have never took part in Telangana movement in any form and who always stayed away from headline grabbing activities or statements now are making every effort to stay in limelight. Both are considered loyal to Congress High Command and so are frontrunners for the post. It is interesting to note that Marri Shashidhar Reddy even opened Facebook and Twitter accounts in last 1 month and started updating them regularly to reach out to youth in Telangana. He has been in news for last month by making one or the other statement.

It needs to be seen whether these efforts pay dividends and shore up his image, which obviously is not in good shape right now due to his indifference and critical remarks against Telangana movement in the past.
