CR Kamalanathan Committee’s draft guidelines are issued. The draft guidelines are intended to allocate around 51,000 state-cadre employees between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. Kamalanathan Committee Employee Allocation Guidelines

The committee has called for objections and suggestions from not only employees, but also from the respective State governments and public. Ten days are given for this. Later, the committee, if necessary, will take the objections and suggestions, and issue final guidelines. The final guidelines should be accepted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

After final guidelines, the state-cadre employees will be allocated to AP and Telangana. Even if any employee is not satisfied with the allocation procedure, he/she may go to the redressal committee, which is also headed by Kamalanathan. The finalization of guidelines is expected to be done by end of August.

The allocation of employees took almost ten years in Uttar Pradesh. But, Kamalanathan is firm that the entire process should be completed in a year after the issue of final guidelines.
