CM KCR Bowled Over By MCRHRD Institute

 Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao, an avid nature lover, enjoyed his visit to the Marri Channa Reddy Human Resources Development Institute in Jubilee Hills on Wednesday. The 39 acre sprawling campus with its greenery bowled over the CM, who recollected his earliest days as transport minister, when he made the campus get fenced against encroachments. He reportedly said that it is amazing the campus retained much of it’s natural charm.

On arrival at the MCR HRD, the Chief Minister wanted to see the entire premises of the institution. Though the officials arranged vehicle for him to go round the campus, KCR preferred to walk around and spent half-an-hour enjoying the green atmosphere. He inspected hostels, yoga center, Gym and training classes among other facilities at the Centre. He also visited the Vamsadhara Hostel which can provides accommodation to 800 visitors at a time and also the Godavari Guest House meant for VIPs. 

The Chief Minister said the Centre would have a great role in rebuilding Telangana State as it can serve the purpose of imparting training to one and all in public service, from sarpanches to IAS officers. The Chief Minister appreciated the officials for constructing a helipad on the institute premises, which could be handy for visiting dignitaries. CM KCR was accompanied by MCR HRD director-general Lakshmi Parthasarathy Bhaskar, Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma, CM’s principal secretary S Narsing Rao and others.
