Bhadrachalam ITDA’s Unanimous Resolution Demands Revoking Polavaram Ordinance

Bhadrachalam ITDA Governing Body meeting here on Saturday passed a unanimous resolution demanding that the Centre retain the seven submersible mandals in Khammam district with Telangana State and revoke the recently promulgated ordinance on Polavaram. The ITDA governing body meeting began in the Khammam district Collectorate in the morning and legislators, MPs belonging to Congress, TRS, TDP and YSRCP discussed the ordinance on Polavaram. 

Speaking on the occasion, CPM’s Bhadrachalam MLA Sunnam Rajaiah demanded that the NDA government change the design of the Polavaram project and continue the seven submersible mandals in Khammam district in the Telangana State. District Collector Sreekanth Srinaresh, ITDA project officer Divya, MPs Sitaram Naik, Srinivas Reddy, MLAs Jalagam Venkat Rao, Sunnam Rajaiah, Venkata Veeraiah, Venkateshwarlu, Payam Venkateshwarlu, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarkha, Puvvada Ajay Kumar, MLCs Balasani Lakshminarayana, Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, Poola Ravinder and others were present.
