Telangana BJP did a press release today condemning the Telangana MSOs who boycotted the anti-Telangana channels TV9 and ABN as fascists! While criticizing TV9′s news bulletin and saying the matter is pending with speakers, BJP went a step ahead and harshly criticized the MSOs and accused them of being hand-in-glove with the Telangana Govt.
Now, the question is what gives BJP the right to attack Telanagan MSOs while the Andhra MSOs have boycotted T News and V6 long ago. They never questioned Andhra MSOs. If it is MSOs right to give or not give a channel, why is that only Andhra MSOs have their rights. Anyway, in this modern age, people can watch TV9 and ABN online and in DTH too if they want to. Why is that BJP want to thrust TV9 and ABN on Telangana’s people even though all they give Telangana is abuse and insult. Also, BJP points to some apology TV9 gave. Is there a public apology for people hurt by those comments in Bullet News? No. TV9 just wrote a letter to speaker of assembly and left it there. There is no sincerity and honesty in reaching out to people. Same with ABN. The ABN MB RK in his response didn’t answer the questions over the stories they carried against Telangana Govt. Instead he again indulged in personal attacks on the CM and made his intentions clear he will continue what he has been doing.
What a sad state of affairs in BJP that it can’t speak for the State and continue working as the other party’s branch office even after election.
BJP, especially Telangana BJP has never owned up its, Telangananess. It always was and is a chamcha to Mr. Venukaiah Naidu, and his caste interests and regional interests.
Unfortunately, Shri K Reddy, though from Telangana seems to be beholden to Mr. Naidu and his other Naidu friends from other parties and cousins.
BJP in Telangana is a Bahu Jan vyatireka Party.
Or Bari teginchina andhra Jan Party.
It compromised earlier to protect CBN’s interests under the garb of protecting its own government of Shri Vajpeya.
It’s national interests drive it, but not its constituent members from regions.
Better we understand their motivations, and deal with them accordingly.
