According to reports from Delhi, the centre seems to have made up its mind not to mess up with law and order function in Hyderabad and leave it with the Telangana State. The government had for sometime considered use of Article 258A of the Constitution to allow a council headed by the governor to take charge of police and public order, land administration, urban administration and higher education.
